E-Business Conference 2009: Finding and Keeping Profitable Customers

Thursday 17th September (9:30 - 16:00)
International Manufacturing Centre, University of Warwick, Coventry

E-Business
E-Business is the new way to work.   More than that, e-business is becoming the most effective way to work, enabling businesses to reduce costs, maximise market reach, share knowledge and make new connections.

The UK aims to be the best user of e-business in the world, and in recognition we are celebrating e-business and offering future insights to your business at this latest National B2B Centre event.

About the Conference
'E-Business Conference 2009: Finding and Keeping Profitable Customers' is our second annual conference.  The objective is to share e-business expertise that will help your business use the internet to perform better and grow bigger.

We have a range of presentations and breakout sessions to explore ways that you can find and attract new clients and then manage the relationship that you have with those customers to encourage repeat business.

We have some acclaimed speakers including Susan Hallam, founder of Hallam Internet Marketing and online marketing expert, Dr. Dave Chaffey of Marketing Insights, a well known e-marketing mentor and best-selling author of Internet Marketing books, and Richard White of Pro-Excellence, an expert on customer management and sales processes.

This year our breakout sessions  include case studies from two of the B2B Centre's clients, Severn Partnership and KSBKids, to provide a practical insight into how SMEs can use technology to good effect.  You will be able to draw inspiration from their stories of overcoming some of the obstacles and finding the best ways to use websites, social media and dedicated customer systems.

For those of you wanting more detail on how to make the technology work then the B2B Centre's own James Pennington will be looking at how to use social plug-ins to distribute content while Steve Orriss will be looking at how to specify and select suppliers for your own CRM system.
